Tom Jordan is a 14-year news
anchor and reporter and provides
media training for corporate
executives, physicians, publicists, non-
profit groups and just about anybody
who plans to face the news media.
He is a three-time Emmy award
winning broadcast journalist and is
currently a news anchor and reporter
in San Diego, California.
Tom's breadth of experience has
come from covering some of the
nation’s biggest stories: multiple
presidential campaigns; the October
2007 Southern California Wildfires;
breaking coverage for NBC News on
the death of former president Gerald
Ford; the 2002 Winter Olympics; and
the downturn in the U.S. economy.
Tom’s extensive media background
includes work as a news anchor and
reporter in Washington State and
throughout California, including San
Diego, Los Angeles and Palm
Springs. He co-anchored two Emmy
award-winning newscasts for
coverage of the September 11th
terrorist attacks and the subsequent
invasion of Afghanistan. He was also
awarded an Emmy for best coverage
of the 2007 wildfires.
Tom Jordan served as the Director of
Public Relations at Kiner/Goodsell
Advertising and as a PR executive at
Eisenhower Medical Center. Tom also
served as a board member for the
American Cancer Society, The
Rescue Mission, and worked with
many charities such as The Hansen
House and Guide Dogs of the Desert.
